BACKGROUND
To boost the search engine presence of Adobe’s blogs, I was asked to join a project for the SEO team. They were tasked with auditing blog content, analyzing the SEO strength, and repurposing/revising each blog. One major addition was adding a summary box at the top of each blog, which was meant to pull the most important information to the top.
A group of writers and I split the blogs into groups, and for my batch, I was asked to:
Refresh the Table of Contents to match relevant search engine queries.
Plan and write content for each summary box (e.g. an overview of the blog content, a definition, a list, etc.).
Edit each blog through the lens of optimization, re-working the target keyword into the blog content without sacrificing fluidity.
Proofread for grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
Update obsolete copy, often retired products and re-named services.

Edit the language to match Adobe brand guidelines.
